How do I care for my Lenrow Custom product?

Your new product has been handcrafted from solid wood to provide a lifetime of use with proper care.

For cutting and food display boards:

After the final sanding two coats of oil/wax are used to seal the wood from water. 

Food-safe sealant should be applied every month or two or after a hard wash. The board should be hand washed in lukewarm water only and not allowed to sit in the water. No need to soak or scrub hard. After washing, wipe away excess moisture and allow to air dry (with air contacting all sides). Once fully dried, you may apply a fresh coat of oil following the instructions on the bottle. Apply the oil by hand (wearing a glove). Do not apply with a towel as most of the oil will be absorbed by the fabric rather than the wood.

Products protected from moisture and excessive heat shall last a lifetime, whether it sits on your table/counter as a display piece or is used to prepare dinner daily.
